1. At what angle should I apply the powder to my nails and at what distance?
Depending on the desired effect, the angle of application and the distance between the applicator and the nail will be different. The closer we apply the nail powder, the more intense its effect will be. The farther away, the more scattered and less intense it becomes. In order to create a nice colour transition, it is best to start applying the powder to the wet (uncured) layer of the UV gel polish from a distance of approx. 5 cm at a 45-degree angle and gradually bring the applicator closer, reducing the angle to zero.
While performing a stylisation in the baby boomer style, we recommend starting the application of the powder slightly below the center of the nail and then focusing the product towards the free edge. This creates a nice colour transition with the focus of colour on the tip of the nail.
When applying aura nails, start the application from the middle of the nail and gradually bring the applicator closer. A circle of colour is then formed, concentrating the intensity in its center.
2. How to apply so as not to waste the product?
The powder stream should be precisely directed towards the nail plate, the coverage should be built gradually (verify the level of satisfaction with the application after each spray until the expected effect is achieved).
3. Can too much powder affect the durability of the stylisation?
The durability of stylisation with baby boomer airbrush powders can be affected by insufficient curing of gel and/or UV gel products used in manicure. A thicker layer of nail powder in the decoration will only affect the aesthetics of its performance.
4. Does nail powder strengthen nails?
No. The nail powder only has a decorative effect.
5. Does the power pigment dissolve or mix with the top coat?
No.
6. Does the nail powder dissolve in acetone without any problems?
Yes. It can also be removed with a nail drill or a file.
7. Does not the nail powder rub off from the edges?
No, the powder melts into the wet UV gel polish, properly protected with a top coat, it will not rub off.
8. Is a dedicated top coat recommended for stylisation with baby boomer airbrush? Is there a difference between dispersion and non-dispersion tops?
Any top coat can be used to protect stylisation with baby boomer air brushes. A transparent Hard Top High Gloss will work great, as it provides a long-lasting and strong shine. It is also extremely scratch-resistant and does not lose its shine when wearing the stylisation.
9. Will the stylisation remain "smooth" to the touch after using the powder? (Won't this affect the consistency of the stylisation? Won't it get rougher?)
The final effect of stylisation with baby boomer airbrush powders is influenced by many factors. In order for the stylisation to remain smooth in its final effect, it is necessary to properly prepare the nail plate for manicure, apply each layer correctly and cure it in the recommended time. You should also make sure that the layer of the product on which you are going to apply the nail powder is even. Also, a layer of top coat, properly applied, will even out the stylisation surface.
10. Can we apply the nail powder to any uncured UV gel product? Base, color or top?
Yes, but we recommend applying it on an uncured, even layer of UV gel base coat (clear or color), gel (clear or color) or color UV gel polish to achieve the best effect. When applying on an uncured layer of the top coat, it should be remembered that the entire stylisation still needs to be protected with the final top coat.
11. Are there any products that cannot be treated with nail powder? What should be the consistency of the nail polish on which we apply baby boomer airbrush powder? Will we get the same effect with a UV gel polish as with a gel?
The effect will be the same, but it is important to take into account the issue of possible migration on the uncured, thick gel layer during the application of the nail powder. We recommend curing the building layer first, and then applying a thin layer of wet gel or gel polish to apply the nail powder itself.
12. How long is one package long?
One pack of baby boomer airbrush is enough for about 50 nails. However, it should be remembered that it all depends on their length and thus on the amount of product used for one stylisation.
13. What is the best way to wipe the baby boomer airbrush powder off the skin if it settles outside the nail during application?
All you need to do is to sweep away excess dust with a soft brush, brush or wipe with a cotton pad soaked in cleaner.
14. How to protect cuticles from accidental application?
Cuticles can be protected from accidental stylisation with Gum Peel Off. Baby boomer airbrush can also be removed after stylisation with a soft brush, brush or cotton pad soaked in cleaner.
15. Are we going to remove it with the standard process along with the UV gel polish?
Yes. The nail powder can be removed both by using acetone and with a nail drill or file.
16. What lamp power is best for curing baby boomer air brush powder?
In order to properly cure stylisation with baby boomer airbrush, you need to choose the power of the lamp according to the type of stylisation you are doing – whether gel or UV gel polish, and to the selected products. Powder itself is not a light-curable product, so it is not a factor in the choice of lamp.
17. The product does not cure.
The powder does not cure on its own, so if there is a problem with curing, it will be a matter of not adjusting the power of the lamp or the curing time to the UV gel polish or gel used.
