FAQ
1. What if the tips are too long for me?
If the length of the tips does not suit you, you can shorten them using nail drill or filling after curing the tips on the nail, and then give them the desired shape.
2. Are the tips reusable?
No, Invisible Flexi Tips are disposable. After performing a stylisation, it is necessary to remove them with a nail drill and then prepare a new manicure.
3. Can I paint the tips first and then apply them on the nail?
We perform stylisation on tips aftercuring on a nail plate.
If the tips had been painted earlier – the layers of stylisation would have prevented the correct curing of the tips with the base on the nail.
4. What can I remove tips and how?
The styling with Flexi Tips can be removed with a cutter or acetone. If you choose the second option, please note that before wrapping your nails in the acetone wrap, first shorten the styling as much as possible, then file the top layer of the nail. Then wrap the nail for about 10-15 minutes. After this time, remove the residue with a wooden stick and even out the nail with a polisher.
5. What if I have an expanding nailplate, “trapezoidal”?
For trapezoidal nail extensions, shorten the nail plate as much as possible, then select the tips so that they cover the side lines of the nail. You can also move the nail tip slightly downwards, applying it not directly at the cuticle line but at the 3/4 of the nail for a better fit.
6. I have nails rubbed up/down - will the tips fit?
For nails rubbed up or down Invisible Flexi Tips will be a good choice. It is enough to properly prepare the nails to extended them by this method, i. e. shorten the nail plate as much as possible and push back / remove the cuticles. On the other hand, for example, in the case of a concavenail tile, it should be gently built with the Flexi Tips Base before applying the tips.
7. Do I need the Flexi Tips lamp to perform manicure with tips?
To properly perform manicure with Invisible Flexi Tips, we recommend buying a dedicated Flexi Tips Led Lamp for this method. This is a standing lamp on the foot, with a motion sensor that allows us to control the angle at which we pre-cure tips on the nail. Thanks to the fact that the lamp is not built-in gives us a lot of space to hold with one hand tips in the right place on the nail and the pre-curing is trouble-free. If a hand with tips applied to an uncured base, we would push it into a built-in lamp or bridge type that has limited space, we would risk moving the tips in motion.
8. Can I use another base?
Flexi Tips Base is a base dedicated to the method of extending nails with disposable tips. We recommend using this base so that the stylization is durable.
9. Can I use tape to stick tips?
To correctly and permanently perform manicure with Invisible Flexi Tips we recommend the use of a dedicated Flexi Tips Base.
10. Do the tips not bend once the colour is placed on them? They look tunnel-free and flexible.
Invisible Flexi Tips are pre-shaped. The flexible material from which tips are made does not deform, and at the same time fits to the nail plate. After performing a stylisation on them, they retain their properties – they are durable and resistant to damage.
11. What material are tips made of?
Invisible Flexi Tips are high quality tips made of transparent acrylic. Thanks to this, they maintain flexibility and at the same time provide safety of use at the offered length.
12. Will you not make a "stair" at the point of joining the naturalnail plate with the tips at the top? Does it need to be overbuilt with something?
Invisible Flexi Tips are pre-shaped, contain a thinner, matted pocket at the point of joining the tips with the natural nail. The aesthetics of the joint site depends on the correctness of application of the product on the nail. Apply a thin layer of Flexi Tips Base, cure it, and then apply a thin layer to the tips from the side of the cuticle, to the length corresponding to the nail and apply the tips as close as possible to the cuticles. If the base spills out of the tips, remove the excess with a wooden stick before curing. If after correct curing of the cuticles there is a chip, it can be gently milled with a nail drill.
